I once muttered something on here about forcing myself to not lust 'out of season', but since it's truly spautumn... that's the annoying bit inbetween spring and autumn when the sun doesn't shine... here in the drizzly ol' emerald isle, i don't feel guilty one little bit. Besides, it's not really so bad if you're never gonna actually buy them,  just rip off their look with your own little 60s dresses, coloured tights, plaid shirts and anything remotely dungaree. Which i will be doing, shamelessly.

This dress beckoned me from the top of the 'blogshop' pile, it looks like a hoarder doesn't really change her spots.  I've a heap to add but a serious case of the dithers. I may have to road test a few first, just to make sure! However, this old topshop unique tunic is firmly staying put. Swingy, with pockets, and a little bit dungaree...and navy. I love navy.  It's not really a summer dress, but guess what? It's ok, because, and i'm now finally reconciled with this fact, we don't  really  have summers here anymore. Changeable seems to be the best we can hope for. On the upside, at least we can still wear fur hats...there's always an upside, remember that

It is what it says on the tin- sundays spent dodging black rainclouds and angry peacocks, with cardis worn as capes over kimonos...feeling the need to pluralise.... and ok, maybe too much, maybe one belt too many. We'll call it geisha landgirl. Hey, it's a look... Oh, and very deceiving comfy-looking evil  evil evil shoes. That's not a pose, that's pain. So that's why they were unworn, unloved, and neglected in the local charity shop. Perhaps others had the foresight to try them on. Or maybe my feet are designed for 4 inches plus. If you're a size 37, just shout me up....small print...masochistic tendancies required
